Growth is multifactorial and is an excellent tool to distinguish health from disease. Honing a physician’s clinical eye in identifying growth red flags is essential for prompt referral and management.

Course objectives/Learning outcomes:

At the end of this module, participants will be able to:

  • Obtain a relevant history and perform a thorough clinical assessment
  • Identify red flags when assessing a child’s growth
  • Refer the child in a timely manner for appropriate investigations or treatment
