About this course

Helicobacter pylori infection remains prevalent worldwide, affecting an estimated 4.4. billion individuals or half of the global population. It can lead to gastric cancer, which constitutes a significant public health burden in Singapore.

At the end of this module, participants will be able to:

Recognize and diagnose H. pylori infection
Generate an appropriate treatment plan for H. pylori infection
Apply emerging therapeutic options for H. pylori infection in clinical practice

Dr Daphne Ang graduated with MBBS (Honours) from the University of New South Wales (Australia) in 1999 and subsequently returned to Singapore where she underwent further training in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
