About this course

Several evidence-based contraceptive options are available and accessible for the general population. Encompassing hormonal therapy, barrier use, natural methods, and sterilization, these interventions also offer benefits beyond contraception. A shared decision-making approach between the primary care health provider and the patient is crucial to align the individual's needs and preferences regarding contraceptive methods.

This e-learning module aims to discuss the latest information on contraceptive methods based on the WHO Family Planning Global Handbook for Providers 2022.
