Overview

About this course

This e-learning module explores the latest updates on amivantamab-based therapy in epidermal growth factor receptor gene (EGFR)-mutant non–small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It highlights efficacy data from the MARIPOSA trial as well as practical strategies to optimise safety outcomes, drawing on insights from the SKIPPirr, COCOON and PALOMA studies. Real-world patient cases illustrate how these approaches can be effectively applied in clinical practice.

Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the educational activity, health care providers should be able to:

  • Understand the current treatment landscape for EGFR-mutant NSCLC, including the latest findings on amivantamab-based therapies.
  • Recognise key challenges in implementing amivantamab-based treatment and discuss strategies to mitigate common adverse events.
  • Apply real-world clinical insights to optimise safety outcomes in patients receiving amivantamab-based therapies for EGFR-mutant NSCLC.

Topics covered:

  • Current treatment landscape of EGFR-mutant NSCLC
  • Mechanisms of action and acquired resistance
  • Efficacy and safety data from the MARIPOSA trial
  • Safety mitigation studies (SKIPPirr, COCOON and the PALOMA studies)
  • Case sharing
