Overview
Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic and progressive condition characterized by the inability of the pancreas to produce insulin. Uncontrolled diabetes inevitably leads to complications and other comorbidities. As such, it is important that primary care physicians are able to manage patients with T2DM when they come to their clinics. This e-learning module aims to review the risk factors, diagnosis, and management of T2DM in the primary care setting.
