About this course

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (Type 2 DM) is one of the leading causes of non-communicable diseases in the world. Suboptimal glycemic control can result in a multitude of complications. Despite the availability of treatments, a significant number of patients continue to experience these complications. Early treatment intensification in addition to lifestyle modification has been shown to reduce the risk of multiple complications from the disease.

This online learning module delves into the updated guidelines and explores the role of glucose like peptide (GLP-1) agonists in the management of Type 2 DM.
