About this course

Odontogenic infection is a common condition that dentists encounter in their practice. Amid emerging antimicrobial resistance, being equipped with the knowledge regarding odontogenic infection and its differential diagnoses is crucial to be able to prescribe the correct antibiotic for a patient.

This e-learning module aims to review the definition of odontogenic infection and its mechanisms, diagnosis and treatment plan. It will cover both the pharmacologic and surgical aspects of managing the condition.
