About this course

Body odor and excessive sweating undeniably have significant effects on the social and mental well-being of adolescents. Proper hygienic practices and topical therapy such as antiperspirants and deodorants remain to be the first line of treatment for body odor. However, symptoms that are persistent or suspicious of a secondary cause may warrant referral to a specialist.

This e-learning module aims to discuss the approach to the management of excessive sweating and body odor in adolescents and the different therapeutic options that can be recommended by a health care professional.
