About this course

Healthy gut development in early life is vital for optimal growth and long-term health; however, its trajectory can be influenced by factors such as caesarean-section birth and breastfeeding. HMOs are crucial components in breast milk. This module describes the positive influence of HMOs on early gut development and highlights the latest clinical trial data on the effects of supplementation with five HMOs on gut development and growth in infants and toddlers.
