

Overview
This CME module guides participants through methods for differentiating between viral and bacterial infections, emphasising the importance of point-of-care testing (POCT) and the principles of antimicrobial stewardship. Participants will learn of valuable clinical recommendations, understand the healthcare and economic burdens associated with viral respiratory tract infections (RTIs) such as SARS-CoV-2, influenza, and respiratory syncytial virus, as well as its associated risks. Lastly, the module explores the real-world effectiveness and profound significance of influenza, COVID-19 and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) immunisation.
