Overview

About this course

COVID-19 is now treated as an endemic disease in Singapore; however, vulnerable groups remain at high risk for severe outcomes and require protection against the virus. This CME module explores the burden and impact of COVID-19 across different populations, particularly adults, children, and pregnant women. In addition, it also reviews the efficacy and safety data of COVID-19 vaccines and outlines the latest vaccination recommendations for these populations.

Learning outcomes

Upon completion of this module, you should be able to:

  1. Gain comprehensive knowledge of the latest mRNA COVID-19 vaccination data in adults, children and pregnant women
  2. Effectively address individual, parental and caregiver concerns regarding COVID-19 vaccination
  3. Confidently advise individuals, parents, and caregivers on the benefits, risks, and recommended schedule of COVID-19 vaccination, enabling them to make informed vaccination decisions
