About this course
Corticosteroids, or steroids, are immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory drugs that are used in a diverse range of medical illnesses. Topical corticosteroids, in particular, play an important role in the treatment of several dermatologic diseases. The widespread topical corticosteroid use in the primary care setting warrants a good understanding of its classes, appropriate administration, and adverse effects.
