About this course

As the fourth and final module in the series, this module brings together key learnings into case-based clinical application. Through three patient case studies covering long-standing migraine, medication overuse headache, and menstrual migraine, participants will gain real-world insights into how patients communicate their symptoms. Each case demonstrates how to apply evidence-based approaches to assessment, diagnosis, treatment and referral in accordance with current clinical guidelines.

Learning outcomes

Upon completion of this module, participants will be able to:

  • Recognise and accurately identify migraine based on patient-reported symptoms.
  • Interpret patient conversations to support an accurate migraine diagnosis and inform appropriate treatment decisions
  • Initiate appropriate, evidence-based migraine management in accordance with current clinical guidelines
