Overview
Depression can have a profound impact on a patient's global functioning. Aside from symptom recovery, patients expect functional recovery from antidepressant therapy. In a scientific symposium sponsored by Lundbeck, Professor Bernhard Baune highlighted the importance of functional recovery for patients with depression and the role of vortioxetine (Brintellix®, Lundbeck) in achieving global functional recovery from depression.
